Overview:

Position Summary
The Contract Coordinator will assist in the day to day operation needs around managing Payor Contracts that Genomic Health is contracted with and/or interested in contracting with. This individual will play a critical role in managing various steps throughout the contract lifecycle. This includes proper tracking of all active contracts, implementing new contracts and amendments within the contracting management system (Apttus) and managing price changes stemming from Federal and State fee schedule changes.

Responsibilities / Duties
· Conduct compliant, through and appropriate assessment of basic level contractual documents (e.g. letter of agreements, amendments, addendums) and other related documentation reviews. Appraise contracts for completeness and accuracy prior to obtaining signatures.
· Take administrative steps to ensure contract management System (Apttus) is properly managed for all US Payor contracts. This includes but not limited to metadata management, transferring existing contracts and all key data elements into new contracting workflow.
· Maintenance of contract documents within and outside of contract management system, circulate and track documents for approval and signatures. Maintain centralized contracts files, monitor compliance with performance obligations under such contracts
· Manage contract review requests coming into the US Commercial Contracting and work cross functionally with the Managed Care Team to ensure intake forms are executed accurately. Assist with tracking, forecasting of contract execution timelines and communicating pertinent information between departments. With oversight from the Contract Managers, assist with preparing contract evaluation forms which outlines critical information and identifies gaps
· Assist in managing payor specific and industry changes related to CPT Code and pricing changes. While adhering to SOX compliance, help ensure pricing accuracy is maintained at all times for new and existing payor contracts.
· Assist with communicating key contract and pricing terms to stakeholders.
· Manage departmental mailbox and delegate to appropriate team members requests that come into mailbox.
· Management of reporting and ongoing reporting needs for the US Commercial Contracting team. Weekly distribution of contracting files to stakeholders.
· Participate in identification, development and implementation of new contract policy and processes.
· Ability to manage special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
· University degree (BA/BS degree)
· 1-3 years of contract management experience
· Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
· A detail-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members, demonstrate cooperation and flexibility and willingness to handle a variety of tasks
PREFERRED
· Contracting experience with Managed Care, Medicare/Medicaid (Government Sector), Healthcare experience is desirable, but not required.
· Familiarity with contract management system (Apttus) and CRM system (Salesforce)
