Digital Engagement Manager

The Digital Engagement Manager is responsible for the execution of projects and campaigns to support digital marketing strategies to intercept, educate and activate patient and customer (physician) audiences. Reporting into the Sr. Director of Digital Communications, you will have proven experience managing digital channels and social media channels to positively drive customer engagement and more business. You love social media and have a deep understanding of the respective strengths, demographics, and high-engagement tactics for each. You will be responsible for creating, executing and optimizing content and campaigns to maximize followers and increase engagement through these channels on web properties.

You have the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, influence partners and translate business requirements to engineering. Your ability to have superior communication skills and be highly organized and customer-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is important. Also, this role requires successful management of multiple projects and resources concurrently on time and on budget.

· Manage all social media channels for Genomic Health, influencing patients, physicians, media and employees including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest to support annual business goals.
o In-depth knowledge of the various social marketing channels and technologies, including retargeting and social network advertising.
o Create editorial calendar and manage regular organic postings
o Develop editorial calendar and manage promotional campaigns to acquire patients and HCPs globally.
o Establish benchmarks for campaign performance metrics and own all measurement of digital performance and reporting for social media campaigns.
o Understand the customer's journey and define the offer for impactful engagement

· Collaborate with digital and marketing colleagues to extend reach and impact of product messaging through Genomic Health and partner web properties and digital channels.
o Work with Sr. Director of Digital Communications to set and execute partner marketing strategy and roadmap.
o Provides helpful and in-depth recommendations for patient websites, customer sites, advocate sites to incorporate Oncotype DX product content.
o Provide thought leadership, strategic insight, and clear communication (written and verbal) to internal and external stakeholders.
o Map the online landscape for both high-value/high-volume managed affiliate opportunities.
o Measures the traffic from these programs and works with partners to optimize the programs

· Develop, implement, manage and analyze strategic programs to reach newly diagnosed patients and the people who love them on and Drive the execution of web projects to accomplish Genomic Health's business strategies for the Treatment websites on time and within budget.
o Collaborate with key cross-functional business partners/groups (Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, IT, Medical) including external agencies when needed.
o Responsible for day-to-day content management of the Treatment websites
o Build content into Sitecore (CMS), test, and deploy into production
o Takes business requirements to create new features for the Treatment Websites. Responsible for writing clear web requirements for GHI development teams, testing, and launching web features.
o Work on Agile activities
o Maintain ownership of the quality and consistency of our web standards, content, and structure.
o Participate in and influence major website projects and redesigns working with integrated design, development, QA and production teams

· Collaborate closely with communications, sales development, email marketing, product marketing, events and digital communications to create a cohesive multi-channel approach to marketing.


· University or College degree in business administration, engineering or marketing (MBA preferred)
· 6-10 years of related experience with a minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing (web content management and social media management). Project Management skills ideal.
· Excellent communicator skills with the ability to consult and influence across multiple levels of management.
· Must have a strong understanding of web technology as well as content management systems
· Content creation in collaboration with multiple partners, such as legal, customer acquisition, marketing and PR teams.
· Experience with use of social media and measuring tools including: Facebook Insights, Hootsuite, Twitter Analytics, YouTube, Google Analytics, etc.
· Nice to have: technically savvy in web dev, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL

· Work experience in diagnostics, medical devices or pharmaceutical
· Budget management experience
