Market Access and Reimbursement Senior Manager

To strengthen our Market Access organization, we are looking for an exceptional International Market Access and Reimbursement Senior Manager, based in Geneva (Switzerland), and reporting to the Sr. Director of International Market Access & Reimbursement.

Role Purpose:

Providing cancer patients access to clinically actionable diagnostics that transform treatment decisions and outcomes is part of Genomic Health guiding principles. Successful market access outcomes are fundamental to the achievement of Genomic Health's mission and requires a high level of commitment, eager to overcome challenges and pave the way. The International Market Access and Reimbursement Senior Manager will report directly to the Sr. Director of International Market Access & Reimbursement and will be mainly responsible for developing and implementing market access strategies across selected geographies outside of the US.

Key Accountabilities and Duties

· Develop and execute the Lead the Market Access and Reimbursement plan and strategies to achieve successful reimbursement and pricing negotiation in selected International markets including France
· Plan and coordinate dossier development for submissions to International Pricing and Reimbursement / HTA agencies in selected International Markets
· Adapt market access tools and generate relevant country data to support reimbursement
· Generate relevant economic evidence through health economic models and tools development to strengthen GH products value proposition
· Contribute and lead data generation projects enhancing GH products value and leveraging unique differentiation (with an initial focus Oncotype Dx Breast Recurrence Score test)
· Update/develop GH products value story integrating recent new evidence and data
· Provide expert reimbursement and access guidance to selected international markets
· Support pricing strategy development for GH products
· Actively monitor and provide guidance on the pricing and reimbursement environment and policies for in vitro diagnostics and personalized medicine technologies
· Support the efforts of the local commercial team (Area and Country Managers) to secure public, private insurance coverage and establish hospital-based contracts as required
· Identify and share market access learnings and best practices across countries
· Inform global market access team and International team of country specific market access needs

Who you are

You are someone who has uunderstanding of the global and local commercial needs and prioritization in a growing company; deep understanding of the different health care systems throughout the world; a clear understanding of drivers for payers' decision-making at national, regional and local levels; an excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build efficient working relations both internally and externally. You are a high energy individual that enjoys a fast pace and high risk/reward environment, able to reflect payers' requirements from different countries and regions into strong and efficient corporate deliverables; capable of defining complex problems and identifying novel approaches and solutions and able to prioritize and resolve trade-offs between competing demands. You are someone who is change oriented, able to adapt according to market dynamics and needs without losing strategic focus, able to work cooperatively and independently and able to adapt and establish yourself within the local and international teams quickly with a "can do" attitude. Furthermore you have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

· University degree required with advanced degree in in health economics or related disciplines (e.g. MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc, MBA)
· 8+ years of experience in the healthcare industry or consulting
· 5+ years of market access experience (pricing, health economics or market access positions) at Global and/or country level
· Solid track record in developing and implementing Global Market Access strategies and deliverables covering reimbursement, pricing and health economics
· In-depth knowledge of the French healthcare system and Reimbursement process
· Experience with diagnostics preferred
· Ability to support value-based pricing through the development of sound health economic modeling
· Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills both written and oral
o Strong analytical skills and familiarity with communication tools - PowerPoint and Excel
o Strong communicator with ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, managers and customers as needed
· Fluent in English and French (third language a plus)
· Travel Requirements: 30% Travel outside of the Geneva
