Overview:

To strengthen strengthen our presence in Italy, we are looking for an exceptional Marketing Manager - Italy, based in Milan and reporting to the Country Manager Italy/Head of SEMEA region.

Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Country Manager, the Marketing Manager will work with the local commercial team and with the International Marketing Team (based in our Geneva office) to define, develop and execute the marketing plan in Italy including projects associated with promoting and educating key customer, patient and supporting medical professional groups. Success in this position will require attention to detail and the ability to carry out multiple tasks in parallel. Competitive candidates will possess relevant experience in Health Care marketing (preferably in Oncology). The Marketing Manager should enjoy working in an ever-changing office environment and be able to maintain composure and poise in sometimes-hectic situations. This position is office based and located in Milan (Italy). National and international travel required (some overnight/weekend travel).

Key Accountabilities and Duties

· Develop a detailed marketing plan to position our products in a very competitive surrounding
· Effectively manage the annual and quarterly budgets
· Liaise directly with various outside groups, (i.e. Advertising, Medical Education and PR agencies).
· Work directly with internal parties (especially SF & intl Mktg team), on a wide range of projects.
· Responsible for initiation and maintenance of tools and programs focused a variety of clinical and non-clinical audiences (oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, and procurement staff).
· Attend outside meetings and prepare reports as needed
· Manage the ordering system for promotional materials
· As requested, create internal memoranda and presentations
· Proofread clinical papers and marketing materials in development.
· Coordinate regulatory & legal review of new or revised materials in a timely fashion.
· Anticipates changes in the marketplace and provides responses to enhance competitive advantage for all GHI products/services.

Furthermore you have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

· University Degree or equivalent.
· Proven analytic skills with scientific papers and market intelligence.
· Health Care market experience (experience in Oncology is a strong plus)
· Proficient in using MS office, spreadsheets, databases, Internet/World Wide Web etc..
· Italian mother tongue. Fluent in English
