Key Account Manager IVD

Overview:

The Partner Account Manager IVD will be responsible for building relationships and managing the business interactions with selected pathology labs who are performing the Oncotype Dx - Breast Recurrence score as an IVD solution in their labs. S/he will negotiate contracts with the labs in close collaboration with our legal function and country management and build forecasts and monitor demand to ensure seamless product availability. The immediate focus of the role will address the needs of our key pathology clients in France and Germany. Together with her/his colleague from Technical Support s/he will be the primary contact of our key pathology customers while also working closely with the sales teams which are focusing their efforts on oncologists and surgeons. He/she will report into the International Organization based in Geneva.
This is a rare opportunity to drive an important program launch in a high medical need area while joining an organization which will increasingly build its IVD offering thus providing significant opportunity for professional growth in the IVD/personalized medicine space.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
· Serve as the key point of contact for all IVD customer account management matters
· Build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships
· Negotiate and close agreements with a distinguished group of pathology customers
· Represent GHI towards the pathologist community in France and Germany
· Forecast and track key account metrics
· Collaborate with GHIs customer service, technical support, marketing and the sales teams to optimize key account experience
· Build productive relationships with our partner Biocartis


QUALIFICATIONS:

- University level education, preferably in life sciences
- At least 5 years sales/key account experience selling IVD solution into (pathology) labs
- Outstanding stake holder management, negotiation and influencing skill
- A good understanding of what is required to develop and maintain the most valuable customer relationships
- Proven experience in commercial processes
- Proven leadership capabilities in a matrix and international environment
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Driven and self-motivated personality
- Fluent English speaker + solid French and/or German language skills required
