Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, US Urology, the Product Marketing Manager (PMM), will be directly responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Urology Marketing tea, specific to promotional activities and other marketing activity, as relevant.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage marketing promotional materials, creative agency and vendor relationships, website copy and content, publication files, and various other projects associated with promoting and educating key customers and supporting the sales force under the supervision of the hiring manager. To be successful in this position, you will have a keen attention to detail as well as an ability to carry out multiple tasks in parallel. Competitive candidates will possess relevant experience in diagnostic, urology and/or oncology marketing, with a demonstrated ability to master complex scientific material and convey these concepts to others (e.g., physician customers, sales force) in a compelling, understandable manner. The successful candidate will also partner with cross-functional partners including but not limited to, Corporate Communications, Medical, Regulatory, Compliance, Sales Leadership, and Lifecycle to develop key product strategies, promotional tools and ensure consistency in program objectives and messaging across the organization. Furthermore, you will partner closely with cross-functional partners such as Sales Ops and Commercial Learning to identify opportunity areas to position and promote our product, while also ensuring sales force buy-in, program implementation and efficient/timely execution of promotional programs and tools.
Given the extensive contact the Marketing Department has with multiple internal and external parties, strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are essential. You will enjoy working in an ever-changing office environment and have the opportunity to maintain composure and poise in sometimes-hectic situations.


· Under the direction of the hiring manager the Product Marketing Manager will lead the ideation and development of promotional materials and programs
· Responsible for tools and programs focused on specialty audiences (e.g. urologists, surgeons, pathologists, urology fellows, diagnostic radiologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists) that can influence Oncotype DX ordering.
· Develop positive working relationships with internal parties, especially the Sales, Commercial Training, Corporate Communications and Medical Affairs Teams, on a wide range of projects.
· Handle questions and requests related to department programs and functions and keep current on all technical and clinical data associated with the assay, along with primary product positioning, messages, and promotional collateral.
· Attend outside meetings and prepare reports as needed to convey scientific or competitive information that may affect our markets and product positioning.
· Prepare verbal & written requests and other information to internal and external parties on a routine basis.
· As requested, create departmental memoranda and presentations - sometimes with only basic outlines to work from in creating new correspondence.
· Coordinate regulatory & legal review of new or revised materials in a timely fashion.
· Work closely with the outside agency-of-record and vendors to develop and manage an inventory of promotional tools.


· Strategic thinker with potential for advancement as the Company grows.
· Writing skills: memos, promotional messaging, letters, data analyses, with proper grammar and spelling. The competitive candidate will be a great writer and tireless reviewer with a sharp eye for language.
· Demonstrated ability to managed external agencies and vendors to timelines and budgets
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, simultaneous, complex tasks and to meet deadlines.
· Brings a positive mental attitude to daily tasks and becomes a net contributor to overall morale.
· Proven analytic skills with scientific papers and market intelligence.
· A demonstrated willingness to exercise initiative in cases where decisions need to be made and supervisors are not available to consult, coupled with the tact and judgment to do so appropriately.
· Computer skills: power point, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, familiarity and use of Internet/World Wide Web, presentation development skills, MS Office expertise must be at a very high level.
· Demonstrated communication skills, verbal, tact, composure, and confidentiality in order to coordinate complex personnel issues, schedules, travel, and logistical projects & programs in and outside of GHI.
· BA or BS required. Advanced degree strongly preferred (MS, MBA, Ph.D.) or equivalent
· At least 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong track record and accessible references. Field sales experience in urology and/or oncology is a plus.
· Urology and/or Oncology market experience required
· Relevant experience in a tightly-controlled, regulatory environment.
· Strong communicator with the ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, managers, and customers as needed
· Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner
· Able to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on quality
· Ability to work as part of a team

As the Product Manager, Urology Marketing (“PM”), you will report to the Senior Product Manager, Urology Marketing (“SPM”), and be responsible for providing comprehensive support across the entire spectrum of strategy and promotional marketing activity.
